Hello Doctors,
My Brother is Suffering Hemangioma/Vascular malformation Near Left Shoulder since birth Now he is 28 years old.
He had a breathing Inconvenience. So we had consulted a CARDIOLOGIST. He asked us to take
CT Scan of Left Shoulder by injecting 60cc of Opitary 350mg/ml and got the Report.
The Report is....
*Large Heterogeneously enhancing MASS LESION OF ILL-DEFINED MARGINS INVOLVING MUSCLES AND SUBCUTANEOUS TISSUES OF LEFT ARM,LEFT AUXILIARY ,ANTERIOR,POSTERIOR AND LATERAL CHEST WALLS OF LEFT HEMITHORAX AND POSTERIOR PORTION OF LEFT HALF OF NECK .
*FOCAL EROSION OF THE SCAPULA BY THE MASS IS NOTED.
* THE MASS IS ALSO COMPRESSING LEFT 1ST,2ND,3RD RIBS.
I had attached the 2D Echo Reports and CT Scan Reports also.We had Done Angiogram also.
Based on the Reports, We have consulted a Cardiovascular Specialist. He had done the Angiogram and put two coils and a Stent to block the feeders. But that doesn’t work, as Still the Hypertension is not reduced.
Now the CARDIOLOGIST with the help of RADIOLOGIST trying to do EMBOLISM by injecting ALCOHOL/GEL or FOAM.
But the Problem is if they inject ALCOHOL/GEL. The heart has to withstand the pressure.
Is there any other method available to treat him?
Is there any Robotic Treatment Available for him?
Please suggest us.
Please Help us in Sorting this Out.
